Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. KJV

 

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. NLT

Scripture focus : Joshua 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. KJV

 

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” NLT

This passage is a command the LORD is giving Joshua before he goes into the promise land and claims the blessed land for the Israelites to dwell within.

 

We are called to be courageous in our conquering of our old man and his desires, and replacing them with our new man and your divine rights and promises.
